DESIGN ENGINEER IN THE FIELD OF BIOGAS, SEPARATION AND SLURRY TECHNOLOGY

Your tasks:

  • New and further development of machines and components as part of a team
  • Designing customer and development projects, as well as adapting existing designs to local conditions and customer requirements
  • Creation of design drawings with 2D and 3D AutoCAD programme Autodesk Inventor
  • Creation and maintenance of parts lists in ERP
  • Calculation of manufacturing and cost price
  • Designing and calculating the components that can be used, such as gearboxes, motors, couplings, etc. in collaboration with the development department
  • Contact person for technical details as an interface between suppliers and internal departments
  • Close cooperation with internal departments such as purchasing, production, sales and project management
  • Supporting the purchasing department with technical clarifications and enquiries from suppliers
  • Support for technical documentation

Your strengths:

  • Technical studies, or technical training with further training as a technician in mechanical engineering / mechatronics or similar.
  • CAD skills in 2D and 3D (AutoCAD, Inventor)
  • Confident handling of MS Office programmes
  • Suitable professional experience in design
  • Assertiveness & decisiveness
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills, initiative and a pronounced solution-orientation
  • Business fluent German and good English skills
