Strategic and Operational Purchasing (m/f/d)

Purchasing components for biogas plants, pump technology and separators – sounds good? It gets even better!

Your responsibilities:

  • Obtaining quotations and preparing qualified quotation comparisons with recommendations for action
  • Negotiating quotations with regard to prices, delivery and payment terms
  • Creating orders, tracking deliveries, checking delivered goods and checking incoming invoices
  • Analysing requirements and planning the necessary materials (monitoring stock levels) or services
  • Searching for, selecting, evaluating and maintaining relationships with suppliers
  • Processing complaints and reminders
  • Expansion and monitoring of purchasing-related master data in the ERP system
  • Continuous optimisation of purchasing processes and creation of the necessary KPIs
  • Close cooperation with the logistics, production, R&D, work planning and financial accounting departments

 

Your profile:

  • Completed degree in business administration/industrial engineering, vocational training as an industrial clerk or comparable qualification
  • Experience in strategic/operational purchasing is desirable
  • Assertive personality with quick comprehension, strong negotiating skills and a goal-oriented, independent way of working
  • Confident use of ERP systems and common MS Office programmes
  • Good written and spoken German and English
  • Ability to work in a team
